Last updated: 1 July 2026

This page is maintained by Sima Tech Ltd to answer common privacy and legal questions about Scrumling. It reflects current practices and can be updated as the service evolves.

This Cookie Policy explains how Scrumling, operated by Sima Tech Ltd(UIC 206762842, VAT BG206762842, Bulgaria), uses cookies and similar technologies on scrumling.com. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage. They let a site remember you between page loads and visits.

2. What we use, and why

Scrumling only uses strictly necessary storage. Under the EU ePrivacy Directive, strictly necessary storage does not require prior consent.

3. Advertising cookies (Google AdSense)

Scrumling is funded by advertising served through Google AdSense. Google may set cookies and read device identifiers to select, cap, and measure ads. These are non-essential cookies and we only allow them after you opt in.

  • Before you make a choice we run Google Consent Mode v2 with ad_storage,ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storageset to denied, so no advertising cookie is written.
  • If you decline, ads still appear but are non-personalised and we send Google the restricted data processing signal used for CCPA and CPRA opt outs.
  • If you accept, Google may use cookies for personalised advertising as described in its own partner site policy.
  • We do not run cross-site retargeting pixels of our own, and we do not sell personal data.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time on the cookie preferences page.

4. Managing cookies

Use the cookie preferences page to switch advertising and analytics cookies on or off. You can also clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings at any time. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may sign you out or reset your language preference.

5. Changes

If we start using new cookies or similar technologies, we will update this page. Where a new use requires your consent, we will request it before that cookie is set.
